We have leased five areas of prime hunting land just a few miles from Antler Ridge Cabin. These have been managed for quality deer development for many years. There are numerous food plots, feeders, hunting shacks, deer stands and blinds already on the property. Open pasture and hay and corn fields are mixed in with large stands of pine and hardwoods. We have placed trail cameras in strategic locations to follow deer movement.

What will you get

Our goal is to provide you with memories to last a lifetime. Each hunter has the conqueror instinct or he wouldn't be hunting. We know there are trophy bucks in the area, but the Big Ones are trophies because they are elusive. Antler Ridge Outfitters offers semi guided hunts. 100% Fair Chase.

We will familiarize you with the hunting area and suggest good locations to set up. If you harvest a deer, we can help with retrieval. The Amish landowners have offered to retrieve with horses or we can use our ATV. No ATVs on the property except for retrieval. It is in every one's best interest to keep the area as natural as possible. Scent control is important. We request that you harvest only bucks that will score a minimum of 125 inches Pope and Young. Check out our Buck Size and Wounding Policy We are all about a quick, clean and ethical harvest. The landowners hunt a little, but will coordinate with you to not interfere.

Your group details

We will take up to 6 hunters in a group (minimum of 2 hunters) per 3-5 day hunt. The combined farms have 550 acres of wonderful deer habitat. It is truly prime hunting area. There are mowed trails to follow to some of the stands, and good thickets for deer to hide. We feel you won't find better hunting than right here. Both the Cabin and the Cottage are on Antler Ridge, 43 acres, which is included in the hunting unless there are non hunters booked at one of the cabins. The Hideaway is on the Buck Ridge farm.

Accommodations

Accommodations are in the cabin or cottage with room for 4, or the Hideaway, with 5 bedrooms. Each kitchen has range, microwave, refrigerator, coffee maker, toaster oven, cooking utensils, crock pot, dishes. Gas grill on porch. Bath with shower. Bed linens, towels and blankets provided. No meals provided.

Ron's Auto and Convenience in Chesterhill (1 mile from cabin) has a few groceries, pizza, subs, etc. Restaurants in Chesterhill, Stockport, McConnelsville, and Athens.

30% of price to book a hunt, 30% due Sept 1, balance due 2 weeks before you arrive.

All hunters must purchase and carry a valid Ohio hunting license and a deer or turkey tag. It is your responsibility to know and abide by all Ohio Department of Natural Resources (wildohio.gov) regulations for hunting in our beautiful state. You will be asked to sign a release form stating that Antler Ridge Outfitters and owners are not liable for any harm or damage resulting from activity on our property. We will provide you with a permit to carry while hunting.
